I thoroughly enjoyed the Bonnaroo grilling adventures of Tim Lee and Don Coffey recounted on Tim's myspace blog.
Also, it's a fine collaboration by Jacks Neely & Rentfro in this week's weekly paper. When I was wandering around Bonnaroo 2005, I kept thinking that surely the Civil War had at least meandered across those fields.
Bravo.

Thanks, Randall. It was a strange and wonderful adventure. Only a couple of curmudgeons could go to something like Bonnaroo and be thinking about the Civil War almost the whole time.
I wish we'd been able to stick around for "General" Lee's set Sunday night but Neely, and myself to a lesser extent, were in deadline trouble.
